Awesome and lit bro!!!!

I think Mine craft is a good game because it lets your creativity come to life and you can really build anything you want. And I also think it is a big stress reliever because when I am angry I just play some Mine Craft and I am happy again. Read full review...

This is Not Just Any Ole Game: Minecraft Offers Educational Values

My two children begged for this game, personally I couldn't see the attraction. The figures, and the setting reminded me of legos, my children are teenagers, lego days have been over for some time. Anyway, I found the game offered exercises that have increased my children's learning skills.

"The skills we use to learn with are technically known as working memory, attention, processing, auditory analysis (including auditory processing), visual processing, word attack and logic and reasoning. We see these skills play out everyday based on how well we can pay attention, how well we can remember, how well we can process what we hear (we hear fine - its the processing of the sounds), how well we can process what we see...and how well we can plan, organize and problem solve" (Bain, 2013, p. 1).

This game in based on creativity, building, critical thinking, analyzing, inventing, and more. It has the overtone of a video game, being able to chat, and play with friends online, non-intimidating, non-graphic fighting with floating lego objects.

I have seen the after math of my children playing other video games, they are pumped, have an elevated emotional response to normal situations, and appear to be anxious over the need to play more to achieve the next level, and are exhausted.

Minecraft has stimulated my children's thinking both inside the game and outside the game. They are not exhausted, they are excited about what they can build without restrictions, they want me to participate, they are not stressed. Both children are challenging their thinking, creativity, problem solving tools in time management, work, communications, teamwork and performing tasks, in turn I have seen happier, more productive children.

Great game!

Excellent game! Unlike some of the other people here, I won't unnecessarily review the seller...

First of, if you haven't checked out Rooster Teeth's Let's Play or Achievement Hunter videos on YouTube, go ahead and do that. They're hilarious and informative, not to mention they give you something to work for.

In this game you get to create your own world. What get's better than that? It's like a giant Forge world! You can use a crafting table to create a place to store stuff you've picked up along your journey, or a very nice house complete with steps into it, tables and chairs, a bed (which serves as your spawn/respawn point), a cauldron if you like magic, a furnace to built bricks, glass, buckets (make an iron bucket, find lava, pour water on it = obsidian. Four gold blocks and you've got Gavin Free's Tower...)etc. It's endless. You can plow land and grow a garden. Plant trees. Mine underground. Fight the monsters that come out at nice (Creepers are AWESOME!), or if you don't like that put it on Peaceful and there won't be any monsters.

The interface is easy to use and the tutorial is fun and easy, not to mention informative. It's a big pre-made world you can customize/destroy with lava.

Due note that you have to have a HDTV to play with multiple people on one console, which I think is BS for people that have CRTs. Halo 4 plays 720p with 4-16 people perfectly fine.

Everything is in block and pixels but that hasn't gotten annoying or hard on my eyes.

I would *cough* have recommended Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition.

So Fun!

Amazing! I did struggle because I thought I had an HD Tv but I was wrong. (Reason I needed an HD TV was so I can play locally with my sister. This was for her bday.) Fixed it quickly with an HDMI cord. The game came 2-3 days later which was perfect timing Overall game and graphics are great and we have so much fun playing it!Read full review...
