Slower, more thoughtful while retaining some early LP charm.
Like the CD, the Vinyl is a fantastic album. While older LP albums were more about angst and moshing, Minutes to Midnight feels like an album you want to listen to wearing giant studio earpieces while sitting on the bed. This album helps to show that Linkin Park can do slower, more thoughtful music (see Shadow Of The Day), reminding me of Tom Delonge's evolution from Blink-182 to Angels & Airwaves. Of course, this isn't to say that LP has abandoned their style completely, as Bleed It Out clearly points out.Read full review...
