Excellent Choice!

I own four different brands of GPS units and the Mio is my favorite. It is a low cost unit with a touch screen that allows you to drag the map in any direction. Other units in the same price range only allow you to zoom in and out. The "drag" feature has helped me out in many traffic jams over the last 3 years that I've owned a Mio. No Map Updates, EVER!!

MIO has NOT put out any map updates for this GPS EVER!! That means for the last 3 YEARS, any and ALL new roadways and housing area's are NOT on this GPS and can NOT be added. No Updates, No new construction loaded! That makes this GPS worthless in allot of locations today!!
MIO gives you the "run a round" if you call them and ask them about it. Don't be fooled!
MIO feels this item is so outdated that they will NEVER have ANY update available, EVER!!

I do like the mio 310. It has a clear easy to follow map you can read at a glance and many color and brightness controls. Bought another one for my 17 year old girl who gets lost easy this keeps her no the right path.Read full review...
