Having read this book in high school, I was quite excited to see it had been updated for MMT. Despite knowing the ending, I watched each week during its original broadcast. The attention to detail was very good, with a few exceptions (e.g., the significance of the Madame DeFarge's knitting). That said, the cast and production was excellent. Having the book brought to life in such a vivid and touching way is sure to interest even the most diehard Dickens reader. We loved it!!

After looking at other productions of this play on DVD and their reviews, I decided to purchase this one, and am so glad that I did! My 14 year old daughter needed it for her English class, but was reluctant with very little desire to watch it.
