Well molded, easy to build plastic model kit.

A well-molded plastic assembly kit of a subject interesting to fans of "2001: A Space Odyssey". Builds up into a pretty accurate replica of the movie spaceship. Lacks decals for the Pan American version seen in the movie. Pretty easy assembly for anyone with a little previous experience with building plastic model kits.

The decals that do come with it are unusually tricky to apply, prone to sticking before you've got them accurately placed. In the end, I didn't use many of them, myself. I found after market Pan Am decals to use on the kit on eBay.

NOTE: The kit DOES NOT come with landing gear. I added mine from leftover parts from other kits.Read full review

Moon Bus Rocks !

Had this model as a kid & it’s the same one 😀. Great creative gem of a Moon mobile that kept the imagination up in the stars...and for some strange reason I’ve always liked chicken sandwich’s with coffee while playing with it after building it;) Great model with lots of fun watching it come to life (I customized my first one with 1/4” silver tape on the bottom of the landing forks (don’t know where I found that tech tape @ 12 in 1969. lol) Very cool classic vintage/new model and you know you want one!
