WON'T FIND ANY WORLD FINALS ACTION HERE!!!

This game was a major let down for me. The two previous Monster 4 x 4 games had spot on physics with decently designed game play. The first was kind of silly with all the guns and things. Then the second game Monster 4 X 4 Master of Metal made a huge leap forward. It was much more realistic than the first but still needed a little more tweaking. This game makes a complete 360 for the worse. It takes the complete fantasy route when a sim type would fit this genre so much better. It doesn't even have the real trucks in the third installment. I read a lot of peoples thoughts on the first two games and the general consensus was everyone wanted more realistic game play but felt the physics were spot on. I felt the developer would listen and hit the nail on the head with this one but instead they did the polar opposite. The bottom line is if your into very arcade like game play with fantasy levels then you'll enjoy this game. However if you are looking for a realistic monster truck game that you can work you way up and go all out in the world finals or a outdoor side by side race then your out of luck here. I would strongly recommend the Monster 4 X 4 Masters of Metal game over this one.

Maybe in the near future a developer will realize what a great fit a realistic Monster Truck game would be on a video game system. I'm surprised we don't see more Monster Truck games given the popularity of the Trucks right now.

Good Game for youngsters

Pretty neat game for occasional users. Probably not much there for hard-core gamers. My 3 year old loves it (since he loves monster trucks)! I like to play it too but it's not in the same league as other Drivers such as Need for Speed. Would recommend it for rainy days and lazy Sunday afternoons. Overall good game for the money. One negative is that you are unable to use this game with Wireless controllers. Wired - fine. Wireless - no go.Read full review...
