Great extensions of the franchise

Really hope this is the direction going forward for MK. With so many story directions in the past with the movies and games seeming to go in different directions, playing a movie quality story mode may be the start of a new high-end franchise. Excellent Fighting Game

Mortal Kombat X is easily one of the best in the series, with great character variety and an improved feel that is a lot less clunky than past MKs while still feeling familiar to longtime fans.
>The color palette is muted compared to the past entries in the series, emphasizing the horror themes in a way reminiscent of the Diablo games.

Online competition is stiff but the netcode plays well and compensates smoothly for the occasional lag. Characters are balanced well and are periodically tweaked in updates for fairness.

I love the game, would love to turn down the blood amount like the older games... it goes way overboard to me. Also the game was fun but I purchased the XL addition... it made this the best game ever!
