Very Dependable Old Style Flip Phone

I purchased this phone to replace my 10 year old V170 that was starting to fail. The V170 that I received appears to be "new old stock" and is in beautiful condition. The battery charged perfect and holds charge well. Reception and transmission are great out here in the country with poor cell phone tower coverage. I have a newer style cell phone that cannot pick up a signal where my old V170 Phone would. This new V170 works just a well as my old V170 did.

I did have to jump through a few hoops to get a new sim card from Tracfone for the new V170 and transfer my service. Well worth the trouble to once again have a dependable cell phone out here in the woods.Read full review

Unfortunately, this phone is one that Tracfone no longer allows you to connect to their network, so the phone is useless if you expect it to make phone calls on the Tracfone network
