Great scanner, easy to set up and use!

The Symbol LS2208 barcode scanner is the best, lower cost scanner available IMO. It is plug and play with all newer Windows versions when using the USB cable interface. It's also very durable and long lasting, unlike some of the other scanners out there. Features are easy to program such as setting it up to do a carriage return(enter) automatically after each scan. The only downsides to this model is that it is wired and not wireless and that it won't read some of the new very tiny barcodes. However, those tiny barcodes are not catching on, probably because the manufacturers know that most retailers want the larger barcodes in order to be able to scan them.Read full review...

The LS2208 barcode scanner is one of the best corded scanners out there. Windows typically finds and installs this model automatically when used with the USB interface and it's ready to go. Plug and play workhorse scanner

This scanner is the workhorse at my place of business. I have 6 units that are working daily. I would say that sometimes there is a little delay if the unit has gone into "sleep" mode. It is a universal scanner that doesn't require any extra software on Windows 10.Read full review...
