An 80's Parody on the Band Wham!

I enjoy this movie very Much! It's about about a Washed Up 2nd member of a A fictional 80's Band called Pop! Hugh Grant tries to survive by writing songs for Pop Star who is more famous than Britney Spears. He gets the help from Drew Barrymore his lyricist . Its a romantic comedy!. I especially like the Beginning when it shows The Band singing Pop goes my heart. It reminded of the eighties, song is catchy Hugh Grant and Pop Band had goofy funny Steps and Huge Grant is dressed like Austin Powers!Read full review

Good Movie

I enjoyed this movie the first time I watched it. I love Drew & this movie introduced me to Haley Bennett (her first screen presence; check IMDB.com). But the "'Pop went my heart' was an earworm that took me a LONG time to get out of my head after the first time I watched it on TV. I haven't watched this DVD yet, I know what to expect, but it's a delightful movie if you can avoid the earworm.Read full review

The title is exactly what the movie is about.

I like that it was available and at a price I can afford. A very good movie.
