Worth Every Penny
I bought this preamp to replace a good but much cheaper preamp wondering would I really hear the difference. Well let me tell you that while I was happy with the first preamp I bought once I connected the Musical Fidelity I heard for myself all the music I was missing. A fair deal goin' down
Put this phono preamp on your short list of inexpensive phono stages. It replaces an aged tube preamp with a phono stage. Bass and treble are both extended. Mid range is rather good. No complaints. Again put it on the short list list of inexpensive but quality phono stages. Wish MF was still making the super up 12 volt power supply.
Using this with a high quality limited edition Audio Technician moving magnet with a ruby cantilever. It works well with the 47K loading for the MM. Controls are minimal which is not a problem.Read full review...
