My Christmas by Andrea Bocelli Music CD NOV 2009

This is an outstanding CD from Bocelli. Just watched the recorded performance on KCET public TV last night and the music on the CD is the same that was recorded at the famous Kodak Theater where both were recorded. The performances are as good as it gets without being there live. The duets with Natalie Cole, Reba McIntire, and Kathleen Jenkins are amazing and moving. What more is there to say?? For you Bocelli fans, this is a MUST HAVE CD for your collection. For any Pavarotti fans who haven't tried listening to Bocelli, he's as close to the Maestro as any other singer in the last 40 years. In fact, Bocelli does a song on this CD that he attributes to the Maestro for introducing to him, in French, and he sings it beautifully. Would love to have seen them do their Duet together before the Maestro left us woefully too soon!

Awesome Christmas CD

I can't even tell you the last time I purchased a Christmas CD but I am SO glad I got this one! I saw this presented on our local PBS station and I was sold. Andrea Bocelli has a gorgeous voice and adds his own twist to everything-very original. He does several duets on this CD also. I play this on my surround sound system--it sounds incredible, especially with the orchestra in the background--it's as if you are sitting right there! You'll love this CD!!Read full review...

A LADY FRIEND OF OURS WAS TELLING US ABOUT A SONG SANG BY ANDREA BOCELLI, WHICH WAS THE LORD'S PRAYER, WHICH IS ON THIS C/D. SHE LOVED IT SO MUCH, SO I TOLD HER THAT I WOULD LOOK FOR IT ON THE INTERNET. WHEN WE GOT IT, I OPENED IT UP AND PLAYED THE "LORD'S PRAYER", AND I UNDERSTOOD WHY SHE LIKED IT VERY MUCH. I GAVE IT TO HER AND SHE CONTINUALLY THANKS ME, WHEN I SEE HER. SHE HAS SUCH A BLESSING WHEN SHE PLAYS IT.
