awesome classic that I have missed over the years, so I just had to buy it again, and got it at a super great price..nba jam t.e. was better (i.m.o.) than the original due to all the extra bonus features that steps the game up in such a great way. HE'S ON FIRE! The BEST basketball game of its time!

I used to go to the arcade everyday to play this game. I would pump quarter after quarter into the arcade machine just to play the 2nd half! Granted this was back when games were just a quarter to play, and Mortal Kombat 2 was in the cabinet right next to the NBA Jam machine, I just couldn't get enough of it. Famous lines such as "He's warming up" & "He's on fire!" will stick in your head throughout the rest of your gaming lives. I have never had so much fun playing basketball, whether it was against the computer or a real person. I practiced this game for a competition that Blockbuster had during the mid-90s, and I practically mastered it. This is a very fun game, and if you are looking for an inexpensive sports game for an older system, this is probably the best one you can pick up. Prior to this series, there was Double Dribble, but this series blew that one off the face of the gaming map! You might even be able to pick up this title for less than $1 on eBay, so do yourself a favor and try it out if you never have.

The main difference between this game and its predecessor is the ability to create and save a play record! There are also minor tweaks that the game developers incorporated, but it is essentially just the same game. If you want a good laugh, choose the Rookies and when you start your game, see how the announcer introduces your team :D This alone is worth picking up the game!Read full review...

Absolute best and hilarious basketball game

Awsome game

This game has got to be one of the best sports games for Super Nintendo. It's got so many options to choose from. You can practice, it's got icons that you can switch on or off that pop up and can give you unlimited fire, power, 3 point capability, unlimited turbo, and my personal favorite the dunk icon in which upon getting it you can dunk from ANYWHERE on the court!!!! It's also got a few other icons you can get as well. It's got juice mode, where you can speed up gameplay, and hot spots that when you shoot from that spot you can score 4-8 points with one shot. NBA JAM

Classic game! I remember as a kid/teenager when I would play Double Dribble at the arcade.(All the 30 something guys know what I'm talking about) To me, NBA Jam was an upgrade from that. Don't get me wrong, I love NBA Live and the others but NBA Jam was fun. Especially Tournament Edition. They added more players and alot of hidden characters.....And you can't tell that you did'nt like doing those crazy dunks!!!! Great game and I'm glad that I held on to my SNES.
