Not bad for the price
Vary good product I received it on time and within 15-20min of receiving it I was up and running. Couldn't change password and name on Xfinity web had to go to Netgear which is pretty easy if you follow the directions.Read full review

Easy fix to Xfinity
This modem is a good fix as opposed to paying 11.00 per month to Xfinity. The wifi is horrible, you will need an access point to effectively blast WIFI throughout your space. You can not use this router solely if you have Xfinity Home. Xfinity will have to come out and add a WIFI router to your system in order for the Xfinity Home alarm to connect to you internet (STUPID I KNOW). Gigabit connections on all 4 ports is a plus.

Does the job for a fraction of the cost of the rented cable company modem.
This modem got us up for a fraction of what the cable company wanted us to pay to rent their modem. It is going top speed, and the Netgear App has enabled me to troubleshoot some problems related to my geography and the cable company's setup.

Great basic modem & router combo!
I'm not a pro when it comes to all the modem and router tech out there. All I need is something to connect to upto 10 wireless devices, running videos on a few and surfing the web on couple others using a 60MB cable connection across a 2000sqft house. This does all of that without issue and has a very easy setup. I have whole house coverage as well as in the front/back yards. Very stable connection, no resetting required over the last week.
