National Treasure (2005, DVD)

I love watching movies like National Treasure because they combine mystery with action. I love how they piece ciphers and clues together and then travel all over the world to find the next part of the puzzle. The movies are chocked full of random historical facts and huge conspiracy theories. I also love these movies because I can never remember the order in which they find the clues, or what exactly each clue is, so I can piece them together again every time I watch it. A great family movie

Everyone likes a good movie about hidden treasures, puzzles etc...

I like it even more when my whole family can watch it. Although the plotline has very little truth in it their is enough historical references to make my children want to leanr about history as well.

NATIONAL TREASURE---a real winner

National Treasure excells in it's story telling in that it weaves events, places, people, and documents from across time into a story that is reasonably believeable. If you are a fan of American History, especially from the time of Ben Franklin, then this movie is for you. There are no slow moments in the movie and yet it doesn't fill the sceen with endless action sequences, although the are enough of them throughout the film. It took some thought and research to weave the story line together which is what makes this movie unique. Nicholas Cage and his supporting crew put on a good performance.Read full review...
