Great product at a great price!

Only problem I had was with the WPS but it eventually worked. I have a wide open space between the router and the Netgear device, I might also add that the router I have is a Netgear N300. I choose this particular adapter since it was also a Netgear and seemed to be compatible across the board and it is. The WPS whenever you try to connect that way(tested at least 5 times) and every time it takes about 5-8 tries of pushing both devices WPS buttons to connect so that was my only concern with the product. You can just enter the passcode for your wi-fi instead if you can remember it from 4 years ago when you initially set it up :), we couldn't so the WPS was the best option. I think if I had a dual band network router the process for finding a good adapter/dongle would have been much easier. Also have to factor in your system requirements as well as what type of USB ports you have access to whether they are 2.0 or 3.0. The latter of which seems to have more/better product options. Software was easy to install and a driver is available through the software even if you are offline and don't have access to an ethernet connection. Overall product rating of an A- for an easy process and a very economically viable productRead full review...

Handy, but problems at setup

After buying this product, shortly after, and for several days after, the product would cut off periodically. Constantly disconnecting me and forcing me to unplug and replug the device. This was problematic and annoying. It was only after rebooting my computer I noticed the problem stopped. I've not had the problem happen since I did this, but this was a pain and I had not seen any warning of this in any reviews. I almost thought I wasted my money. This is a good product and it does it's job well. It's not the fastest, but I didn't expect it to be for the money.

Overall, after the errors... this turned out to be a good product. It works. It's low profile. It's small. It's reliable. (For the week I've had it anyway.) Not too bad! Because of the massive problem at setup, the stars it got are the stars it got.

Doesn't work for all computers

we have Dell Inspiron P57G computers, and this simply didn't help us.
this is an honest seller and a good product for other computers. we
did successfully use a NetGear adapter on our older laptops when we
travelled. also a very good price and very fast delivery.

Great support on product.

My rave lies specifically with the support I received on this product. Without their solution to my issue, I would have been without internet services for nearly a week. It was the Netgear support employee who realized that my cable company had installed the wrong configuration (bridge) on my modem. He brought the cable company onto the call and instructed them on how to correct the configuration. I've had no issues with the product whatsoever and have been a Netgear customer for over 15 years for a good reason.Read full review...

Quality Product

This adapter is easy to set up. Software is included. Just install, plug in, and you're ready to go. We got our first Netgear N300 when the internal network adapter on one of our desktops became unreliable. When I had an older computer that needed a network adapter, I bought another N300 because we were so happy with the first one. Price isn't bad either if you shop around.Read full review...

Tops. The Best.

These are the Best. Forget the others , even newer models. These are reliable and easy to set up and you have great flexibility of where you want it. Others such as cards rarely work correctly and are immobile, the same with static USB sticks and easy to bump and break.Read full review...

Netgear N300 WIFI Adapter

Works well with my older Dell desktop. Setup was fairly simple and use is as easy as pushing a button at the modem before logging on.

Wifi Netgear adapter

It is unclear what to report as the device has not enabled us to connect to the internet. The problem may be in our computer as our old netgear stopped working after 6 years so we thought if we replaced it the problem would be solved. We will have to take our system in when the companies are back in business. Sorry we can't rate the device at this time.Read full review...

Great wifi adapter.

I bought one three years ago and it still works great. It has good wifi signal pick up and it worked so well that I bought the same model for my other computer.

N300 Wireless Adapter

It wasn't too painful installing and setting up the adapter. I was lucky that it connected and identified my NETGEAR wireless router rather quickly. I recommend this product.
