Nextar ME

I decided to purchase the Nextar ME because the price was under $50. I was skeptical but i had a friend that had also purchased this model of Nextar and raved about it. To be clear THIS IS A BASIC GPS NAVIGATION SYSTEM that will get you from point A to point B.
PROS:
The interface is logical and easy to use. It automatically switches into night mode when it gets dark. Within 15 min of having turned on the system, I'd programed it to my specifications
CONS: The directions are not always 100% up-to-date. A few times it as directed me to take exit 2A when the true exit was 2B. I think this has to do with road work and construction. Also i have noticed that it is a bit sluggish when recalculating a route after a missed turn or a missed exit.

Nextar ME Automotive GPS Receiver is a good product.I bought this GPS 4 weeks ago. I was impressed on the features of the product.I immediately tested it and it was working and in excellent condition.I bought this GPS for my daughter who need a GPS for her car. So far, base on her input this GPS is working and is very useful for her travelling. The only things that she is having problem with is the mounting. Nextar ME Automotive GPS Receiver

I like the Nextar ME, its cheap, but you get what you pay for. It gets the job done, but it tells you the long about ways to go through town, you have to keep typing in the place you want to go, and it does not tell you that you are going over the speed limit. I only had it for about 3 1/2 weeks, I sped to just see if it would tell me, it didn't. If you watch it, while exceeding speed limit, you can read it on the screen, but no voice will tell you. It does speak to you when you type in location, and you have 6 voice settings that you can pick.

Low cost but veryt usefull GPS unit.

Like the unit due to it's ease of use and it has many great features for a low priced unit. Was cheap to buy as a used unit, but is terrific as a back up to my regular 7" unit. Keep it in case there is ever a problem with my main unit.Read full review...

Nextar is awesome!!!!!

I Loooooove this product. Its a powerpacked device for a cheap price!!! I love the text-to-speech, and the ease of finding an address. Nextar has far exceeded my expectations. Besides the tts it also came with its own pouch to carry the gps around in. Other companies make you pay extra for tts and a pouch. Nextar you rock :-)Read full review...

it work just fine plug it in and go easy to use select a few letters and up pops the location and store when on in use can be put away very easy

Efficient and useful product

I really like this model, it's fairly cheap and it works very well. I like that you can choose to enter intersections or city center instead specific addresses. Has a good list of POIs.

Nextar GPS

This GPS system looks great! I purchased this as a door prize for a celebration and know the winner will be pleased! I love the talk-by turn features and its size. This GPS is a real winner! Reasonably priced, perfection!
