Old works sorta
With the CURRENT generation of GPS receivers for your car including the built in ones this one is an old anachronism. Cannot be updated as the company went out of business, runs on Windows CE (which win6 (Vista) 7/ + 8 have a hard time recognizing (windows mobile center) most of the roads that are available on the 1997 chip (all that there is out there, as the upgrade chip initially cost more than the unit itself. Make sure GPS works before you buy regardless if menu screen appears.
Nextar they work good. When they stop working usually the menu screen appears but you will not be able to click anywhere else.
