Night of the Living Dead (1968): 3D Disclaimer

Apparently, it is up to me to alert all Night of the Living Dead (1968) fans out there to avoid the 3D version being sold on Ebay, unless you have a Samsung or Mitsubishi television and have purchased special Razor 3D equipment.

I bought the DVD thinking that it would also include the 3D glasses that usually accompany 3D products, but it actually requires additional equipment that can only be hooked up to the previously mentioned brands of TVs.

Not that I'm knocking the Razor 3D technology, but I was under the impression that the DVD would include the necessary items for proper viewing.

Simply amazing, one of my all-time favs

Simply amazing, one of my all-time favs

The main character is played to perfection and most of the supporting cast does an admirable job. NotLD is Zombie horror at it's finest. Romero had a small budget and little special effects and he still managed to make one of the scariest movies ever made.

I still enjoy watching this movie every now and then just to remind myself what started it all and how far we've come.

Rent or Buy?: If you're a horror fan this is a must buy. If you're just looking to see what all the fuss is about rent this one today.

I love this original clasic. I thought it would be great to see it in 3D.
This movie is a 2D & a 3D.
The 2D of this DVD is superb in every way BUT the 3D version is way past BAD.
With your 3D glasses on you can not tell what is going on. The movie is so jumpy you can not enjoy it at all. Its not the DVD, its just the quality.Read full review...

I love the Living Dead, Romero movies.

This is an all time great Dead movie. But the 3D is terrible. It is so shakey and blurry you can't see the movie without getting stomache sick. Stay with the original or the color version.

Good Qualty Product.

Good Qualty Product. Great movie, one of my favorites and always will be. I have not had a chance to watch it in 3d because i need one of those 3d viewing systems.

No 3D here

Same cool old movie but I couldn't detect any 3D effect. Old movie remakes, especially in black and white, just don't lend themselves to 3D.

This is a classic DVD that is sur to thrill, exciet and even humor you. It is a classic for any horror film collecter.
