Coolpix L340 - A Good Little Point and Shoot Camera

This Coolpix L340 is quite a jump up from my former Coolpix P100! The controls are in the same place, though, so the learning curve is simple!! And the battery is the same, too.

Focus is sharp as can be, I used to have trouble focusing on red and green things. Not any more!!

Mostly I sought a similar camera, but not all Coolpix cameras offer the PASM controls. This is critical to my shooting.

Poor quality, poor value

I'm not at all happy with this camera. for 20.2 MP it doesn't take very good pictures. It is small and hard to handle for someone with large hands. The anti shake doesn't work very well. Too many of my pictures came out blurry, and I had to re-take them several times. If the chance of a lifetime shot comes along, this camera will screw it up.Read full review

I finally found a larger, much easier to hold and use, especially if you have large hands. I had missed my old large 35mm camera and never could get used to the new tiny cameras.
