Nice compact-hard on batteries

Love the compact size and great features. Nice quality pictures. Lack of view-finder probably attributes to battery consumption. Seems to really suck a lot AA batteries. As battery life is consumed, the flash will not work as well or not at all. I turn off the flash and still get great pics with natural light, however. I bought this used on EBay for my wife, but probably not as simple or user-friendly enough for her. I'll use it as a back-up.Read full review...

Nikon CoolPix L4 Digital Camera Review

I was given one of these cameras a few years back, I had no problem with it, and loved its zoom quality for close up shots. Even though I wasn't given instructions, it was simple for me to figure out how to use it. All you need besides the camera itself is a USB cord and two batteries.

The original one I had ended up getting dropped, I didn't hesitate to get another, at least this way I know what I'm getting... I couldn't go wrong.

Anyone wanting a decent quality camera, not too worried about how to update older drivers and such, do yourself a favor and try this dependable camera.Read full review...

Great older digital camera

This camera is a great step up for our son but I find that I would like it as well. It is a nice small size, the pics are clear and crisp. It has all the features I am looking for, for both of us! Like many this age, it has the shutter delay but my camera is older and has an even longer one so this is fine.

Wonderful product, doesn't feel used and got it for a great value!

I got lucky with this bid! It popped up firs thing when I was searching for cameras and I didn't know it was ending in seconds so I just bid and won it for a ridiculously low amount of money. It works really well, the pictures if taken correctly are very clear and beautiful. There was really nothing wrong with it even though it was used. There was a minor issue that the little cover for the battery is a little loose but it's really not a problem at all, it still works amazing and when I looked to see how much these go brand new I was even more happy that I got it for a steal!! Good Camera - But You Need Specific Accessories

I like this camera for its affordability and good photos. You must have all the right exact matching accessories or it will not work properly. Only a 1 gig sd card. The exact cord to load pics on laptop. The photo software disc must be downloaded. It can have glitches but they seem to be minor. Great value.

This is my second one. It may have few megapixels, but it still takes fantastic, sharp pictures. It's not how many megapixels that defines a good digital camera, but how good the lens is. And it doesn't get much better than Nikor. Nikon has always been known for their superior SLR cameras, and that same know-how of good design and technology trickled down to the point and shoot cameras as well. Simple, easy for a beginner to use!

Nikon Coolpix L4 4.0 Megapixel

I purchased this product to give as a gift to a friend. I have an identical camera (my first digital camera) and have used it for several years without any problems. My friend saw mine and loved it; hence the gifting of a similar one.

I believe the ONLY disadvantage to this camera is the fact that it uses the video display screen as the view finder resulting in a higher than necessary drain on the batteries (2 AA) than a camera having a view finder separate from the video screen.Read full review...
