My new go to lens.
As a long time Nikkor lens user I have become accustomed to high quality and long lasting durable products. So I was a little Leary of this new generation of plastic and light weight products. They just seemed to lack that old time quality. While this might seem to be true I have come to appreciate the lightness and see it more as an added feature as opposed to any lack of quality. This might be my new favorite lens. It works great in tight spaces, allowing you to get wider shots. It's super sharp even at f/1.8. Note the detail photo of the rings that was taken at f/1.8.
