I purchased Ninja Reflex because I have always enjoyed any type of ninja game. This one is especially fun being that its goal is to sharpen ninja skills.
Before you start playing you pick a ninja name out a possible 25,000 combinations of ninja fist and last names, and there can be up to four different players. There are six mini games in all, each of them have a list of tasks within them that expands as you play the single player campaign.
The six events are Shuriken throwing, Fishing(Koi), Fly and Chopstick catching(Hashi), Katana Training, Firefly catching(Hotaru), and Nunchaku training. Each tier of gameplay is decided by your performance in each of these six events. So as you play through the sub-games within each and beat each event you earn a jewel, When you get a jewel in each event you can do a belt test and they include a random list of challenges within it. You can take a break from training and go do Meditation mode which helps you relax, you can have a guided Meditation or Silent for a certain amount of minutes. In the gameplay each of the eleven belt tests you pass progresses you to the next level, where each sub-event is again cleared and made more difficult. The only bad thing I can find with this game about this game is the repetitive sayings from your Sensei. Ninja Reflex is a great game for people of all ages. Ninja Reflex for the DS

I love this game because it is not only for entertainment but also improves your hand-eye coordination amongst other things and its great for children and adults alike! It's the perfect balance between playing a game and being half-way "educational." I decided to buy it not only because I'm a ninja fanatic, but any game less than $10 US Dollars for the Nintendo DS or any game console for that matter is well worth it because those things are really expensive now days. Regardless whether or not its a good play, its a great addition to anyone's game collection. I recommend it 100%, now get out there and play it!!!Read full review...

I know that my grandson loves it,jumped up and down with elation.I'm a grandma so that's all I know. What makes him happy makes us all happy.

Almost like being a real Martial Artist. Works the Brain. This is a Must have for Martial Arts practitioners, ( I am one).

Fun inexpensive old-school game!

Fun game! Not a complex game but does what it say...tests your Ninja reflexes! I don't remember this game when it came out, but I am glad I came across it!

Ds game

My grandkids love it, if they are happy, I'm happy. Thanks Nothing else to say only that, i'll be buying more games to keep them busy during the summer and be content.
