Great Value in a Tiny Package!
This console is an amazing value. It has a beautiful Famicom-inspired design, and its size makes it very stylish. All the buttons, especially the shoulder buttons, have a very satisfying click to them. Along with having the best lit screen in the Game Boy Advance line of consoles, the smaller screen size makes the picture quality that much better. The Game Boy Micro is really impressive with how it was able to fit so much technology in such a small package, even making room for a headphone jack! The only downside is that, unlike other Game Boy Advance models, this console is unable to play original Game Boy or Game Boy Color games. the last evolution of the gameboys
Gameboy Micro systems have been increasing in price lately. I don't get it. it's a tiny system, a very small screen and parts are hard to come by. maybe because only 2 million systems were sold worldwide?
this anniversary edition is gorgeous though. it fits easily in your pocket, maybe even your coin pocket? the batteries often fail but are reasonable to replace. if you want a deal, get a broken system, but be prepared. the ribbon cables easily break and cannot be replaced. you'll have to bypass them with wires and knowledge. A little small but looks good on a shelf. Plays well but hard to see because it’s small. Recommend for collectors. If wanting to play gameboy advance i would recommend a DS or gameboy advance sp.
