Nintendo Wii Mini Latest Model 8GB Red Console NTSC NO GAME

The reason for this purchase was to play games from the US market. My son already has the same unit, in its PAL version, but could not use tens of games from his aunties in the states due to incompatibility of the systems.
Anyway the console worked straight out of the box, just remove the PAL one and connect the NTSC unit.
Only one negative point however. The console received was really dirty, which in my mind is a mistake. A laser device must be kept thoroughly clean.

Bought as collectors item

This wii mini came with everything the original wii mini comes with and 4 extra games. I bought it as a collectors item and I was happy to see the controllers in the box too. However, the controller had batteries in it that had some pretty bad corrosion and an acid leak. They were easy to remove, and all of the corrosion was removed using isopropyl alcohol. It was an inconvenience and I recommend cleaning anything you sell. After cleaning the controller it looks brand new and operates like brand new. Console and controller do work.Read full review...

Budget in all the wrong ways

The Wii mini is a budget option in all the wrong ways. AV connection only, meaning picture quality is blurry on hdtv. No SD card slot. No backwards compatibility with GameCube.

Video does not work.

Console could only display audio but no video. I tried with two different sets of AV cables, and the HDMI adapters but could only get sound - no video. Extremely disapointed.

Regular Wii console is better. This is great to add to collection for Disc at home play only!

Its toned down version of the Wii that has a pop open CD tray.. No way to connect to internet. It is made just for disc at home play. It is light and the plastics feel cheap compared to you normal Wii console. I got a used Wii Mini for a great deal.
