Will make a great holiday present!

When it came in it was so neatly packaged. I plugged it all in, just it all set up and it is perfect! Everything runs smoothly and I am definitely happy with this purchase.
Though some criticisms I do have are minor, but still important:
-2 of the figures were broken. One was broken off the stand (but should be able to be fixed with some super glue), and the other had an arm broken. Unsure if they were shipped like this, or were shook around during delivery.
-The two Disney Infinity parts were quite dirty but after a wipe down it was all taken care of!

All in all, very happy with this product! My family members will be quite excited for this for the holidays :)

Good Console. Could Become Great.

I've always enjoyed playing Nintendo consoles, since playing the original NES for the first time. That being said, I am also neutral when it comes to giving my thoughts on a system in general. The only thing that makes me give it a 4/5 instead of 5/5 rating is the fact that Nintendo forces you to use the Gamepad for initial setup of the console and to navigate essential menus like for example the System Settings and the Nintendo Eshop. I do like the Gamepad and what it has to offer but the truth is that it's a little bit too expensive to purchase separately (approx.. $150 USD from Nintendo directly), which makes it non accessible for some users if it gets damaged or stolen. I think they should make an update that allows users to fully control the system with the use of the Pro Controller or Wii Remote Plus. That way they could make sure the consumer is worry free on that matter. I believe the Gamepad should be expensive to manufacture so I understand the high price they sell it for, so it would be better to just let users have the option or choice of using another controller instead of lowering the price of the Gamepad and having losses.

Moving on, the Wii U seems to have the high quality build I've come to expect and love about Nintendo products. The game library also has been improving lately and there's a very good list of upcoming games that should keep most gamers busy and satisfied. Though some may say that the graphics really don't impress compared to last gen consoles, and they may have reason for it, truth is Mario has never look better before the transition to HD. There are other games that look visually stunning like for example The Legend of Zelda Wind Waker HD.

Navigating menus and apps like Netflix, the Eshop, etc., is a breeze with the Gamepad and being able to display games on the Gamepad while others watch TV is a definite plus for many people, myself included. The Gamepad is quite large but actually feels very comfortable and is not too heavy at all. The Gamepad also provides some useful ways to play games on it and a way to free up screen space by displaying in-game maps, inventories, etc. The only con I could find in it is the short battery life it has. I would recommend purchasing the Pro Controller since the battery life is amazing (Nintendo claims 80 hrs.), and it feels extremely comfortable during long playing sessions.

Overall I completely recommend purchasing a Wii U to anyone who's enjoyed playing a Nintendo console in the past and to anyone looking for innovative ways to playing video games. Specially now that Nintendo has lowered the price ($299.99) to be more accessible than the upcoming PS4 ($399.99)and Xbox One ($499.99).

Wii U is good fun if you love Mario Bros based games

I purchased the 8 GB unit (white) to play Super Mario games and Mario Kart 8. For these types of fun family games Wii U is a good purchase. Does it compare to PS4 or Xbox? No. Variety of newer games is also very limited. But if you like Mario based games and family games it is a great system. HD graphics is also a nice upgrade from older Nintendo systems.Read full review...

Wii u, good system, not worth its high price

I put off purchasing the Wii u when it first came out, because I did not think it would be worth the money. Though it has not very well, I have to say that I was wrong about the system.

It does have the same game titles for the wii and other systems: xbox 360, ps3, etc. But it still seems to hold true to its design. You may play your games away from the tv, and you can also program your television and cable box with your wii u, and mess with the settings from there. I am quite pleased. I may be a fan, but I cannot over look its flaws. For example, most of the game titles can be found for a cheaper price on the wii, the only major change between the two systems is the touch pad.Read full review...

The product is @ my grandbaby’s.

I enjoy saving money and still being able to get the things that I want. I just love eBay. I get quality products @ reasonable price. So far I have not been displeased.

The Wii U is a great console an all, just not worth the price.

The Wii U console is very good an all, it's perfect if like me, you still have a bunch of Wii games and your TV only has HDMI and no component for the Wii. I tried getting a bunch of those Wii to HDMI converters and they all had some kind of problem like showing a bunch of lines on the TV or making my Wii games sound real staticky, but the Wii U at least plays my Wii games perfectly with no problems at all since the Wii U takes HDMI. Still the price on the Wii U never seems to go down at all so I still don't think the Wii U is worth the price, which is why I returned the Wii U I got from GameStop to get some good Nintendo Switch games instead.Read full review...

Better than the Switch.

Has a HUGE collection of games unlike the Switch, you can even play any Wii game on it too! The Gamepad is fun, and is good quality. Has a nice feel! If you're an online gamer, this console is great for you! Kids, great for kids! Teens, still has teen games! Adults... depends. If you want to communicate with friends and video chat, that got discontinued. Anyway to sum it up!

Games: 10/10
Quality: 9/10
Online: 7/10
Fun: 10/10
Ages: 5-14 Average

Hurry! This item is getting high in price for some reason!

Exceptional Gaming Experience, Gamepad Makes WiiU Very Entertaining

While I was hesitant to buy this at first, the gamepad controller looked too bulky to me, I have found that the controller is the best I have ever used. It fits perfectly into your hands and is much easier to use than previous controllers from any system I have ever owned. I did have an issue where the gamepad kept losing its wireless connection to the system, even though I was only a few feet away from it. I read online and others were having the same problem and it is just a matter of making sure the system is plugged directly into a wall socket or into its own power strip. I had mine plugged into the end of a power strip with 5-6 other things plugged into it and this was causing the problem. I play Black Ops II online and it is amazing. Anyone who enjoyed playing Halo online will love Black Ops II online even more than Halo. All the other games I have played have been great too, Mario is quite fun with two players, one using the gamepad to place blocks etc, and the other using the WiiMote.Read full review...

The Wii U still holds up

I've had a black Wii U since launch, but this white one just looks so much sleeker. I love it! I have Wind Waker and Twilight Princess. It honestly is a more powerful Wii, but I don't mind. It's a great console with all of its exclusives and I would recommend it especially if you are unable to get a Switch right now.Read full review...
