Quality worth paying for.

This is my 2nd set of Occidental suspenders to go with my Occidental Adjust a Fit, Fat Lip tool belt. I down graded from the Heavier duty suspenders hoping to allow more movement with my shoulders in the winter months when I'm dressed as the Pillsbury dough boy. So far so good, the leather quality and hardware is of top quality materials. After 5 yrs of heavy use my tool belt is just starting to break in. Great suspenders. BUT!!

Great suspenders overall. Just some design tweaks needed. The padding on the shoulders need to be longer and made to move less. The excess adjustment straps should have a loop to fish it through so it doesn't keep flopping around. Otherwise this is a great product and works very well. Very well made overall. Worth $80 ? Beyond question !

I debated with myself for a long, LONG time over the wisdom of $80 for tool belt suspenders. Now that I have installed and used them I KNOW I should have gotten them a long time ago. The "harness" design does NOT move around. You are not trying shift them every time you bend over or reach out. The leather and hardware are "lifetime quality". Nay, "heirloom quality". Leather suspenders

These are made of what looks to good quality, thick leather. The buckles are all metal. You do have to remember though, when buying leather suspenders, they will have a brake in period. Well worth it. Hard to beat good pair of leather suspenders.
