Bernstein ‘Omnibus’ Collection an early TV Landmark

I’d. always been curious as to these shows, particularly as I was so familiar with the print versions of the scripts via ‘The Joy Of Music…and I was not disappointed. It’s valuable on just so many levels: Bernstein fresh and brimming with enthusiasm whatever the context or detail or observation, the opportunity to see and hear some performers only read about ( Ramon Vinay/Martha Modl, for example) and just as archive of the early days of television…yeah, this is an easy rave recommendation.Read full review
