BEST BASKETBALL MOVIE EVER MADE!!!
Robby Benson is such a gifted athlete, musician, and actor - I really miss seeing him in movies. I think I own just about every movie he has ever been in - like JEREMY, a terrific love story. DIE LAUGHING displays his musical
talent really well - and nobody has ever heard of that movie!!
I was delighted to see that ONE on ONE is out on DVD - and I can put my video-tape version aside. But I just cannot bring myself to discard anything RB was in, so I keep all those videotapes in a box in the attic. Might be worth $$$ someday!
This movie's moral is that no matter what adversity you encounter, persevere! I've seen this movie probably dozens of times and I never get tired of it. If I had to save all my DVD's from a wildfire, and could only take 10, this
would be in those top 10 picks. Read full review

Was a good watch
Entertaining movie if you don’t judge the difference in the years. You know the good guy will win out but that’s ok, you can look at the main character!

One on one
It brought back memories of being a jock as a teenager. Thinking what things could mean for me. It was a David vs. Goliath movie little man wins

Good DVD since unavailable to stream!
Exactly what you expect. Does NOT have subtitles. Dad remembered this movie fondly so it was nice to get this at a good price. Thank you.

One On One movie still holds up
I saw this movie back in the day when it came out in 1976, but it's been years since I saw it totally unedited and uncut with commercials. The story still holds up today, as it is a classic story of the big time college basketball coach and the struggling basketball player from a small town that is trying to keep his scholarship. Great performances by Robby Benson (who actually plays basketball and co-wrote the script) and Annette O'Toole, and a good music score by Seals & Croft.Read full review
