Better than I thought!
I’ve never used a night time mouth guard before. Finally decided to get one after some recent dental work has caused some sensitivity and my jaw clenching has been hurting extra bad lately. Anyway, this mouth guard was easy to form, is comfortable to wear, and has a pleasant taste. I’ve worn it for a couple nights now and have noticed a huge difference. Nice and thin compared to others.
This was easy to prepare as instructed. My only issue is that I have a small jaw, and the back edges rub against my tongue. I've had this problem with others too, so I just clipped it. I will be re-fitting it again, to try and get it flatter fit against my front teeth. This is my problem due to a TMJ issue, not the mouthguard. Good for a temporary fix.
For me, this still fits too big. Once my teeth have been sunk into the material that allows this to be individually fit, it bulges on the sides making it hard for me to sleep with. I'm a side sleeper and can feel the bulge. Otherwise, this had easy to follow instructions. The scope taste was not really present. Not sure if that is cause the product might be old. My dentist told me last week at my dental appt that I needed a mouth guard to wear at night. I researched different ones and ran across this baby. I had to heat it twice to get a good fit but wow. I was scared to go to sleep but I just took a nap. Amazing! Stayed in place. It will last a long time depending on much you grind. Mine is not too too bad and only in the front. Nice Night Guard
This device is nice and small. It's easy to do the fitting and it stays in well. I use this alternately with my expensive specially made one from the dentist. The dentist one has the bottom teeth fitted into the bottom of the guard which I really like. This one, and most others of its ilk do not have this feature. Easy to fit (and to re-fit if you aren't satisfied with first attempt). I used my first one for 2 + years so a good value for the money. Comfy fit although I did trim some of the excess off after fitting- that was easy to do to. I was really surprised at how good this night guard is. It is as good as my very expensive one from my dentist. It's so easy to fit and very comfortable. It is fairly soft material so it loses its shape and requires reheating and molding. so dont throw the tray and case it comes in away.
