Great quality watch!

This is one of the best watches for the money. It's very accurate, well-made, and the fit & finish are excellent. It's nice having a day/date complication. I don't think I could go back to just a date after this. The blue dial really looks spectacular in person. The style is very traditional for a dive watch, but it's not just another clone of a more famous one. The bezel and lug shape makes it look smaller on the wrist than other 40+mm watches. I have a smaller and more shallow watch that always gets caught on the pocket of my jeans, but the sloping of the bezel makes this much slide in and out without getting snagged. The bracelet doesn't yank out my arm hair, which is nice! If something ever happened to it, I'd buy another one in a heartbeat. Read full review...

ORIENT men's Ray ii watch

The watch looks gorgeous, balanced, dial colour matching with the bezel, screw in crown, 200 m water proof, unbeatable for its price. I had work the ORIENT Mako XL for over there years, great quality, accurate, solid, relatively scratch resistant, no discoloration on the beautiful bezel, which has provided a reference for me on ORIENT. I like the Mako XL model better in its macro size case and a smoother rotation on its bezel, but the Mako ii has a higher price tag. Your choice. Read full review...

It’s an Orient!

These weren’t available in the States for years and I’ve been eager to get one. They are built very much like Seiko’s and you can see the linage with earlier German watches, much like the way Subaru and Porsche have similar engines. I really like that Orient can be manually wound. A former Seiko Tech once told me that Seiko saved 8 cents per movement by eliminating manual wind. Sounds plausible.
I like the styling of the case. The dial color is more European than some Asian watches. Bracelet quality is not equal to case quality but for this price not a deal breaker. Accuracy appears better than stated and it makes a nice even pattern on my timing machine. Looking forward to wearing it more.
I would have added a picture but it kicks me back to the beginning when I try.

Really happy with the Ray II

Really happy with the Ray II. I ordered the blue one. I don't wear it daily, so, this being an automatic watch, it does stop due to lack of arm motion to generate power. That said, winding it and setting the time and date aren't big problems for me because the look and feel of the watch are so nice that I don't mind the extra old-school attention I have to give it. I may get tired of that, but it's a beautiful watch at a great price. I can't attest to the long-term durability, but it's definitely nice to look at and is comfortable to wear. I find that gently shaking the watch side to side to wind it is not nearly as effective as unscrewing the crown and winding it when needed. When I wear it, it seem to keep time well.Read full review...

Great Watch

This was my first automatic watch and I love it after a week of owning it I did upgrade the band which in my opinion is the biggest downfall with it having hollow end links once they bend out a little it like having a little bell until you bend them back besides that it's a amazing watch for the price and mine is keeping time great I set when I first got it and not touched it in the 10 days so far it's running between 3 to 15 sec fast which from what I've learned is great especially for the money also the lume is great stays lumed all night I'd recommend this watch to anyone looking to get a automatic watch for a low price.Read full review...

Super accurate out of the box!

I have heard that Orient regulates all of their watches at the factory, this might explain the +5 seconds that mine is running at. The band uses push pins, so it is easy to adjust to your wrist. I used a paper clip!
However having an 8 inch wrist, the 41.5 mm size of the case sometimes looks small when I wear it.
The only bad is it's kind of hard to screw down the crown as it's very small.

Great watch overall.

Great Watch & Value

This watch meets all my expectations! It's very nice to look at, has a good quality feel that indicates it will last for many years. It also keeps time very accurately too! Runs on average about +7 seconds per day for me which is more than acceptable for an automatic watch. Read full review...

Quality watch at a good price. Painless buying experience.

Watch came very quickly via secure packaging. The band was a little large, so I took one link out & now it fits perfectly. Very satisfied with the watch's quality.
