J. Geils by M. Giles
I started getting into the J. Geils Band during high school. Someone asked me if I was related to him (his last name is pronounced with a hard "G" mine with a soft "G"). The rest of my time in high school then college my nickname was "J"
After the initial question asking me if I was related to him I made it a point to find out more about his music. Turns out I love it!
This is some of his early work pre Love Stinks. It is similar to a local Pittsburgh band called The Iron City House Rockers. Having seen J. Geils Band in concert in Pittsburgh made me a even bigger fan. J is a great guitar player and Peter Wolf a great front man.
I must admit I like his newer material better (Love Stinks), (Freeze Frame) but this is still good material. For the price you can't go wrong.Read full review...

Nice set for the J. GEILS Band.
Their first 5 albums. With the digipak set they don't take up much more space than a single CD in a regular CD case. I saw them at Winterland in San Francisc back in the '70s.
