YOU can use this as a universal remote to a degree with all your stereo and tv components. It is an EXACT REPALCEMENT FOR the AVR-4800 receiver as well. It is cheaper to find online and works 100% like the RC869 does. I am so pleased at finding one at 1/4 the price of a 4800 receiver remote. They are built like tanks so will last a while.
