Totally Worth It

My work boots are very expensive, $250.00 + gI'm in them 12-14 hours a day and beat the snot out of them 6 days a week. This boot dryer is my 2nd one. I might have to change my boots 2-3 times depending on the changing conditions of the day. I have extensions and glove attachments. Blower makes a big difference

I have the old (no blower) Peet dryer, as well as this new Advantage (blower) Peet dryer. Both work well and my old one it over ten years old. I like this new advantage model better. The timer works great and the blower really makes a difference. And you can air out your items without heat or with heat. Dry boots are awesome!!

Wet feet make me grumpy. The Peet Boot Dryer is hands and feet down better than using the open oven door for drying my old work boots! It's awesome to have dry boots after all day in the rain!

Simple and it works

Works simply. Plug it in and set the timer up to 4 hours. Choose heat or no heat. Lots of attachments available. I use one a couple times a week to dry out my MX dirtbike boots and helmet. Dries them out, keeps odors down, increases lifespan of my gear and comfort level. Dries out sweat well and also regular water after lightly washing my boots.
I bought a second unit so I can also simultaneously dry my knee guards and gloves. I also sometimes use the deodorizer module that is also available and you can run that directly inline (although only on one side), so for me it is on the side that I keep the boot attachment. Well-designed... You Get What You Pay For.

There are lots of features I like about this dryer.

There is a built-in heater...
-It can be toggled on/off with a switch on the front.
(Heat is bad for leather, so the switch is nice - most dryers have a heater that cannot be turned off)
-Warm when turned on, but not hot to the touch.

Built-in timer...
-Dial on front controls automatic timer.
-Timer adjusts by 10-minute increments.
-Ability to set dryer on timer, you can leave home knowing dryer won't run all day while you're gone.

Good insert shape...
-Flat bottom doesn't dent the sole of your shoes/boots
-Ridge down front provides a channel for the air to escape footwear.
-Boot angle can be rotated to desired arrangement.

Sleek...
-I prefer this black design to the more common white plastic.
-Four places to dry two pairs at a time.

I gave only a four because the fan makes a lot of noise.
