Fantastic mirrorless camera in a small body
Great image quality, great features considering its age, well built but small, carry it anywhere. Previous owner had used it extensively but it is still chugging along. I paired it with my Panasonic 17mm 1.8 and love taking pictures with it. Surprisingly sturdy, has flash and hot shoe, exterior dials and buttons, fun "multi film" mode. Low light performance is not bad due to using the 1.7 lens, Christmas light photos turned out pretty well. I love it!Read full review...

GF1 - Great First Camera
In 2017, I bought a used GF1 because i wanted higher quality pictures than my iPhone, but didn't want to break the bank. The micro 4/3rds system seemed appealing at the date of purchase because i go to a lot of concerts, and i wanted a camera that i could sneak into the venue if necessary. My first lens was the Panasonic 20mm f/1.7 pancake lens.
Ease of use? It's complicated enough that i still dont know what im doing half the time, but i can still capture great pictures easily just like a point and shoot in certain modes.
Picture Quality? Picture quality is decent, not the best, not the worst. A lot is dependent on your lens and how you shoot. I'm still not that good, but i've captured some beautiful, high quality, shots that i couldn't imagine from my camera. I've shot in RW2 and JPEG. RW2 is better quality and takes up more space, but you cant upload it to websites like Faceboook. JPEG is lower quality, but takes up less memory and can be uploaded directly to FB.
Good Value? I can always work my way up to a better camera body. I spent about $75 on this body. It does everything i need it to do and more. Will eventually upgrade, but very happy with this purchase given my budget.Read full review...

Very nice IR converted GF1
This specific camera is actually a GF1 MODIFIED for INFRARED by an amercan company. Mirrorless cameras shows their advantages in focusing via the actual image readout, as compared to SLR's, which always was problem, and never showed the actual image in the viewfinder. Evolution moves ahead, while many photographers still stick to what "they learned during their younger years"...
I am reallyhappy for the Mirrorless cameras... and in some years the conservative will also enjoy them the same way they enjoy The Beatles today ! :)))))Read full review...
