Great Product but Outdated

I have the RR US- 450

PROS:

It has different settings for Recording Quality - Different Record Quality Settings Determine the Actual Recording Time....
IE: SLP will give longer Record Time - 66HRS for RR-US 450 Model. - 33 HRS RR US 430

Great CD Software such as Text to Speech - and can Convert Files

A Security Folder so you can set a Pin #

Great CD Software - but unfortunately it's Outdated - If I am correct... it was meant for Win XP and or Vista... and though it can be - and I do use it with Win 7 - It causes me to have Blue Screen Errors and Crash Dumps Frequently

Files are NOT easy to share and Save- They CANNOT be saved to your Computer using Drop and Drag or Copied and Pasted- but Saved to the Software Program.

If it's been used and Connected to the Computer Software - You Should be Aware there is an Authentication Code you must enter when it's connected to the Computer for the 1st time, and the Program for Access...

Once the Authentication Code is entered- it's stored in the Device.. without any instructions to Find it / or change it. (You must know what the Authentication Code is if it's been Used and Entered into this Device to make it Fully Functional with the Software)

If it's been used and you don't know the Authentication Code- You can not use it with Your Computer or Software.. Therefore it's a basic recorder.

I would consider it Reasonably Priced if Fully Functional- But OUTDATED for this day and age.Read full review...

I have the RR US- 450 and I believe the only difference is this model has a Shorter Record Time.

Lots of features for a reasonable price

Pros - USB, many features, text to speech, software
Cons - no volume control, unintuitive menus.
I like that this product comes with USB to allow you to move recordings from the device to your computer. It converts it to a WAV file which you can then email, post to the web, etc. Great for using with meetings and conference calls. Sound quality is really good - especially when you listen with headphones (not included).Read full review...
