Key is dust free work station.

First few were perfect then white lined began to show up. Cleaned scanner head and everything good for a few and then white lines again. Then I realized dust on photo sticks to scanner and builds up. Same problem on all this type of scanner. Must scan in ultra clean environment. Since we have an XP computer worth the price.Read full review

I would really recommend this item!!! It was so easy to set up and I’ve been scanning my pictures and editing them on my computer very fast!
