SLOW , DULL, NOT SCARY & AWFUL

How anyone can find this movie scary is beyond me.
Nothing happens the first half of the movie except they find keys on the floor and the chandler moves. Nothing scary happens unless you find this shrill nagging girl b#@%&*ing at her boyfriend scary. I could hardly wait for her to dies. ,,, sadly she does not.
Very low budget, bad script. The special effects are bad. A fan blowing a sheet, string pulling a sheet etc are low budget and it shows at.
This was so slooooow because 90% of the movie happens when they are sleeping in the dark. Not scary, bad acting, bad script. Also if you watch closely you will see many production mistakes.
One of the worst movies i have ever seen.

A Semi Fake Paranormal Movie??

I heard a lot of great reviews on this movie, so I decided to rent it. The entire movie is shot from a portable camera. It is similar but contains differences to the Blair Witch Project.

There are only a few part which I thought was a bit freaky but overall not that scary. Just a lot of suspense.

They tried to make this movie into a true movie but I have not found any evidence of it being real.

The actors seemed amateur like this movie was their big break. It was almost like a bunch of college kids put the movie together.

Good movie. Great price.I think I was as scared as I thought I would be.

Quite realistic. The movie started a little slow but before I knew it I was caught up in the drama. Definitely not a movie I would watch alone. I have seen scarier... but again it was very realistic. My son convinced me to buy both Paranormal Activities because he claimed I couldn't watch Paranormal 2 if I hadn't seen the first one. It made me believer of the supernatural

I've heard so many people talk about how scary this movie was,I decided to buy it and watch it for the first time. I was afraid to watch it at night time from what i've heard so i wathc it in the early afternoon and i'm glad i did, this movie made my skin crawl. It was soooo creepy, if you're looking for a creepy movie, this one will not let you sleep at night. I highly recommend it if you're into the scary stuff. After watching this movie you're going to wonder what really goes on while you're sleeping.

A Creepy Movie

This movie portrays the haunting of a couple. It starts off slowly with character introductions, then slowly, gradually, increases in intensity. I believe the movie could have explored more avenues as characters enter but either retreat in fear or show no interest whatsoever.

My brother found the movie to be extremely creepy and thoroughly enjoyed it.

The CD contains an alternate ending. Would be fun if there were games to play or a directorial interview explaining why the movie didn't delve further into the way this would interfere with their everyday lives.

Par For Normal Activity

I could find absolutely NOTHING to like about this movie. It was about as boring and silly as anything I have ever sat through. If they were trying to make this a believable situation, someone failed miserably. From watching some of the previews, I assumed there would be some moments of "hanging on the edge of the chair", but I never found that opportunity. I bought this DVD, because some of the reviews I read made it sound watchable. Good thing I got a steal on the purchase, otherwise I would be really PO'd. Scariest Movie Everrrrrr

I love how the movie was on an extrememly low budget and it came out as scary as it was. It will scare you if you beleive in paranormal events or ghosts or are very open to believing in that kind of stuff. Personally I have seen ghosts before and have had things that occured in the movie happen to me. That made it ten times scarier to me!
