Easy to apply, but......

Item came with absolutely no instructions, nada. I found an instruction video on Youtube. First time I have used this stuff. Error on my part, I did not use a grease remover on my seatpost nor seatube. Rode first day after application and my seatpost slipped. Got home, pulled out the seatpost and the coumpound was a gooey mess (carbon seatpost/steel frame). I wipped it off as best as I could and went back to my old method using a pop can shim. Afraid to touch it anymore. I imagine it works fine, just make sure to remove all the old grease. It might feel like it's all removed after a good wide down, but it's not. Pop can shim works swell, but a PIA if you have to remove your seatpost and re-install. Note, again USE A GREASE REMOVER BEFORE USING THIS PRODUCT!!!!! other wise it will not work!!!!!Read full review...

Perfect solution with a better seat clamp

The Thudbuster seat post on my new mtn bike kept slipping, despite careful tightening and the seat post has very fine ridges that would seem to help prevent slipping. After reading up I decided on a 2 prong approach -super grip compound like this and a Thomson seat collar advertised to exert maximum hold at a low 2.8 nm tighten force. When I put the super grip and new collar on, I have not had a slip after hundreds of miles of riding and I only had to torque the Thomson down to less than 3 nm.Read full review...

This is the stuff for a twisting seatpost

Ordered a new bike in a box ($500) and just could not keep seat post from slipping side to side no matter how tight I got it. I shimmed with an aluminum can cut to fit, tried a new clamp...even stripped bolt head from tightening so much. I looked at similar problems in Bicycle forums and heard others using this carbon powder gel for the aluminum tubing framed bikes. Never had a post give me such a fit like this one and I've been working on bikes for years, so I decided it was worth a try. Works perfectly!!!!!Read full review...

A Must Have For Carbon Bikes/Parts

If you have a carbon frame, seatpost, stem, or handlebars this is a must have. It definitely keeps your parts from slipping. Works great on my carbon seatpost in my carbon frame on my road bike. Also, the aluminum post on my carbon mountain bike kept slipping, I applied Park SAC-2 to the seatpost and it stays put.Read full review...

Park Super grip works as advertised

Seat post on one of my bicycles was constantly slipping. After a good cleaning and a light layer of Park's super grip, I am happy to say the seat post no longer moves and we are a happy camper.

works very well on Al alloy/steel and Al/Al connections

Product works very well for Al alloy seat posts in steel frame and Al/Al stem/HB, etc., results in a solid non-slip connection with moderate cinch bolt torque.
