parks and recreation

I thought this was relatively informative about the process of getting parks into the stage where they are actually going to be done. I hope this was an extremely comic view of what a top level official has to go through to get a park done. So it is interesting from the information and barely good at comedy.

Funny & Resembles The Office

If you are a fan of the show The Office, you will probably like Parks & Recreation. It isn't quite up to par with the comedy that The Office so easily portrays, but it is a newer show than The Office as well. As far as the show itself, it is funny, comical, and has the same charm that you would expect from an NBC show. The plot is simple, but has that day to day life feel that I love to see in television shows and movies. The characters are well chosen and the actors who play them are very good at what they do, acting. None of the lines seem forced or cheezy, as they do on some shows that try and attempt this style comedy, however it does drag on slowly at times. Season one doesn't have many episodes either, but most first seasons don't. Overall it is a great buy, especially for fans of The Office.Read full review...

This is a really good TV show. I found out recently that this season one DVD is currently not available in stores anymore, so eBay or Amazon are two of the few places to find it. Awesome Show, The first season had only 6 episodes. But it sets it up for the next season.

if you love the office and/or 30 rock then this show is for you. Amy Poehler really shines as the hilarious head of a local parks and recreation subcommitte in Pawnee.
