Best pedal I've ever owned.
The pedal I bought was used and needed a new spring but I have 2 bass drums and bought multiple pedals looking for a long enough foot board for my style of drumming. None really felt comfortable and I always had difficulty getting solid double bass until I got this pearl p-930. I bought the 1st one new and right out of the box it was almost perfectly set up for my taste. With a few easy adjustments I fell in love immediately. So I bought a 2nd pedal, used but cheap, and with the new spring, I can get the speed I was looking for without very much effort at all. It kicks hard and easily adjusts to anyone's taste. My Favorite Pedal Ever
The P-930 balances light weight, adjustability, simplicity, and speed, without a high price, and it does it beautifully. My first one came with my new set. I already had a dw9000 that I’ve owned for 10 years, and figured I’d just give the Pearl a test and then sell it. Lightweight, Nimble & Inexpensive!
As more & more gigging drummers are rejecting overpriced heavy & overbuilt single bass pedals, many are now rediscovering the advantages of a simple lightweight pedal that can still do the job with flair. The Pearl Demonator P930 is such an example, with it's light weight, simple adjustability and minimalist features. These single pedals feel and play great!
The footboard is cast in the "longboard" style but still has a hinged heel plate, single chain drive, spring tension and beater throw are easily dialed to user preference. Hoop attachment points have rubber "nipples" which help prevent marring of the drum hoop. Pedal comes with a nicely weighted felt/plastic 2-way beater. The orange colored cam provides agile & nimble feel with power when needed. My particular model came with a base plate stabilizer attached but I've seen other versions (P830) without the base plate.
Recommended for players who need a modern & light action pedal without all the unnecessary doo-hickies! Find a nice used one at a lower price than you'd expect!Read full review...

This is a long board pedal. The pivot point of the back of the pedal is further back which gives you more foot contact and more control of the batter. Super smooth action and slimline design. I love it. Really has improved my bass drum control. A good pedal is great to have. Buy this pedal. I have 2 now for both of my drum sets.
