Pretty good stuff for a pretty good price, it's just what I was looking for to work on my project, I am using aluminum plate and wanted to have heli coils for the tapped threaded holes I made so they didn't strip out over time. I have used heli coils in industrial applications in the past and if done correctly will last longer that original threads, especially in aluminum and non alloy (soft) cast iron. These are an essential thing to have around for any stripped out threaded hole.Read full review...

Not up to par
3 of the 10 coils tab were bent wrong and could not be used.
After installing the coil several of the tabs were very difficult to break off. One was so hard to break off that it pulled the last coil loose from the hole. That concerned me because the bolt could hang up on the coil.
The tap and installation tool were good and worked well but the coils were poor quality.Read full review...
