no frills textbook
its pretty straight forward. it has a lot of pictures that help make it more appealing to people with shorter attention spans. I've only used it for its Freud sections, but I've glanced over its sections on other personality theorists and all the information seems to be there. I'd recommend it as a good introductory book to psychology because there is a lot of overlap between a Gen. Psych book and this book.Read full review...

great book full of tons of information in a format that is easy to read and study, got this book for my personality psychology class and im glad she picked this book to work from!!

The book is exactly what i needed to take a college psychology of personality course. Very insightful and helpful when needing to reference the book for questions regarding topics discussed in class.
