Phil Spector-What a Bargain!

After possesing the original pressing lp's for years, i figured i would 'upgrade' my collection and purchase this nice set on cd. Still in mono, as it should be heard.
Neatly packaged with each cd and the cover's original artwork, the sound is impressive. The original pressing lp's had surface noise, even when first purchased, so was nice to hear each selection clearly.
Included is a thorough booklet with notes on each lp.
A superb selling price, considering the amount it would cost to buy each lp individually.Read full review...

If you are a devoted Phil Spector fan, you will be in music heaven with this purchase. His famous Wall of Sound is featured in many of his masterful works. The CDs deliver on this. There are several duplicate songs and many that I was unfamiliar with on these recordings..I have always appreciated these trend-setting recordings and welcome them in my music library. Find it for cheap

There's a lot of repeat song since phil spector did like to make compilation albums and pass them off as new material; like He's a Rebel is just Twist Uptown but with three songs taken out and 3 others added in. But it is cool that these are the first time ever official cd releases of these albumsRead full review...
