A lifetime of enjoyment for very little money. Thank you ,seller!

I wore out my"8-track" and needed to replace it. We love Jim Croce, each song tells a little story, and is clear and understandable, if that is a word. It is so sad that he passed away so soon he was very talented and could have done so much more. My children grew up listening to his music. Now my son plays Croce's songs on his guitar and sings them to his children . We are three generations of Jim Croce fans. His music is easy to listen to and sing along with,no screaming, breaking of instruments,or embarrassing speech .Obviously I am not a fan of todays music. If I can't understand it how could I like it?Read full review...

Jim Croce, Photographs & Memories

Jim Croce's career as a singer song writer didn't start out with a bang. It progressed slowly, then the bang. When he discovered a certain mood or style within himself he was instantly embraced by music lovers. I was one of them. I was a young hippy rocker/folk/blues/big band lover.....what? where did that last one come in? hmmmm'
Then, in a fiery plane crash it all ended for both Jim and those that looked forward to his style. I cried that day. No other musicians death affected me like that. There was something, and still is something magical about Jim Croces style and sound. I don't care for some of his stuff, that is the norm with all music. This CD in particular has what you need to experience the real Jim Croce.

A Balladeer That Is Missed

Jim Croce is a genre all his own. His music is about the story rather than special musical effects.

Good CD

Good CD, I heard a couple of his songs on the Classic Radio Stations and remembered how much I used to like this guy's music, so I bought it and am happy with it, brings back good memories.

A gift to a friend

A long-time friend was reminiscing about Jim and one of his songs that had been a favorite of hers and her late husband. It was a simple joy to order it for her and watch the tears flow when she heard the lyrics again. Read full review...

Great singer/songwriter of the 60s and 70s!

This is a great album by one of the singer/songwriters of his time. Along with great performers such as James Taylor, Carly Simon, Carole King and others they sang for our generation. Jim Croce could make you laugh and make you cry. Every song was a hit and can be enjoyed today. His gift was cut short by his death at an early age. If you are hearing these songs for the first time or the 100th time you will recognize his talent.Read full review...
