Works on Linux!

Works with Linux! I use the DJ program Mixxx. Several points: 1) in miss, you have to load the ddj-sb2 Preset under Options -> Preferences -> Controllers -> DDJ-SB2 -> Load Presets. 2) If you want to use the built-in sound card, you have to set Options -> Preferences -> Sound Hardware to ALSA and Output/Master to DDJ-SB2: USB Audio / Channels 1-2 and Output/Headphones to DDJ-SB2: USB Audio / Channels 3-4 (took me forever to figure that out). 3) If you want to use your computer sound card, chose yours as an option under Options -> Preferences -> Sound Hardware and set Output/Master to system / channels 1-2 and Output/Headphones to system / channels 3-4.Read full review...

Prefer controller with XLR output

I love Pioneer products. In fact I have a Pioneer DDJ SX2. The only problem i see with this particular unit( even though i dont own this particular model), is that it doesnt have XLR outputs. It has the red and white outputs, and thats the reason i wouldnt get this model. I bought a Denon MC4000 instead, simply because of that fact. If Pioneer made one this small at this price, then sure, i would get it..because, like i've said, I love Pioneer products!!Read full review...
