I’ve recorded a few things on the recorder and while the recorded images are great, the editing features are not all that tolerant. The chapter edit, change group, erase all, group name and divide features, don’t normally function. They’re mostly always unlit and have only lit a couple of times. Lovable and convenient features of the 510H

The DV front connector is not only IN but also OUT - a great convenient feature.
The Timer Recording is straight forward and doable in only a few steps (not as difficult as with the 531 model, where you have to use too many different buttons).
Very convenient is the fact that you can define the title for a recording the moment you set the timer and not ONLY after recording (as with the 531).
Also, you can leave 'chapter marks' (in the piece you are recording and others already recorded) while you are recording and without having to go to the EDIT section (only after having finished the recording), where you only have a small picture window, making editing much more difficult.
