Punchy bass and great mids for a 45 watt tuner.

I owned one of these 20 years ago, and I liked it so much, I bought another one. Pioneer's Flouroscan line produced some of the most unique and durable stereo tuners that were available on the market for that time period. Proper pricing for one of these units in good shape should run around $100 plus shipping. Read full review...

Ample power, a pain to recap, but worth it.

I bought an SX-3700 to refurbish/recap for a friend.
Breaking down the amp to get at the boards is a pain, but well worth it.
Now recapped, the amp has a phenomenal tuner and is putting out its rated watts.
Now with LED inicators, it looks great.

Can't beat old vintage stuff. Like hugging your grandma never can be the same

Not bad for it's age. What is. Classic receiver. With only classic rock coming out of it nice.....😂

The SX-3700 is a Sound Receiver

The SX-3700 is the final word for the heart of a home stereo system. If your listening material runs no more than 30 watts, this receiver brings all you will ever need.

One of the Best every Made

This is a sweet receiver that will offer all anyone really needs. It has two tape inputs, a turntable input, and one aux input it allows you to use both (A+B) and front and rear speakers at the same time connections. It is one of the last truly analog receivers every made. It fact this line of receivers were has both digital and analog tuning. The next series of receivers were all digital and none had the famous toggle switches, or great silver faces. This also has the very desirable blue Fluoroscan light. They have a conservative 45 watts per channel. 0.02% harmonic distortion, Freq response is 10HZ to 100KHZ. There are two larger receives in the same series the The SX-3800 and SX- 3900 which was the granddaddy of all receivers. They also made the SX-3600 which is smaller than the SX 3700. For most users, ther SX-3700 is about as good as it gets and new they were priced very reasonable. A Good used one should not cost more than $200, $250 with original manual and Brochure. If it has papers that recently show its been cleaned and serviced throughout don't pay more than $300. Even one that has not been serviced is a good buy for $100 as long as it is complete and works.... Read full review...
