Best movie ever

I love Pocahontas so much. Like she is so amazing and strong and courageous. And she loves nature and her family like it’s amazing. I also love Meeko, my little cutie. He’s so funny and he causes a lot of mischief as a raccoon. I get so excited when I him. I’m like “Oh my god. He’s so cute.” I love him. This movie is on the charts because it’s so inspirational and it talks about the importance of accepting everyone’s differences, choosing the right path, and listening to your heart and your own voice. And that’s really important because in life we go through a lot of challenges and trials and temptations so I really recommend you get this film. The second one is really good too because I love when Pocahontas went to England and learned about the English culture and stood up to King James. It was really good. Read full review...

My fiancée’s favorite Disney princess, Pocahontas is an under appreciated movie in my opinion. The songs are wonderfully written, the artwork and style are beautiful, and the story is a compelling one, and one that showcases one of if not the first independent female Disney characters. Pocahontas

I bought this for the kids in my family as I want them to identify with positive female images beyond what they are bombarded with everyday. I found myself so enamored with this movie it is now mine and has not gone to my nieces house to be owned. I am sure I will love watching it with her again. The imagery is refreshing and beautiful. The music stayed in my mind for a couple days. I found myself completely relaxed at the end of the movie. I did like thte messages the movie sent out. Also that Pocahontas made many choices in life that changed her existance. I found the messages both powerful and appropriate. I think Disney has just done a wonderful job with this Movie. I hd missed the movie as I was overseas on duty when it came out and now I understand why young girls love Pocahontas so much after watching this movie. Disney has made a female role model that is not only attractive physically but also a strong good role model beyond the Some day my prince will come of the past role models. It's my movie now the kids cannot have it to scratch at their house..but maybe I will let my great niece borrow it if they are careful.

Nothing Like A Disney Movie

Great movie, the only drawback is if you know anything about the REAL Pocahontas legend the movie's plot is quite different. If you can get over that then this movie is for you.

Pocahontas dvd

I loved this movie when i was younger. I now have a young daughter of my own and I knew she would love it too. We looked for it on DVD at various stores and to no avail we couldn't find it. It would seem that Disney has put it in the vault. My younger sister suggested that we look on E-BAY for it and we found it there. We were so excited! This is a great mivie for all young girls! This has always been my favorite Disney movie of all time. It's one you can watch over and over again. This movie is for kids of all ages.

The songs are wonderful, as well as the characters. It incorporates many themes like love, humor, adventure, and drama. There's something for everyone.
