Great improvement to the series of pokemon games

Great time killing game; quite a bit different from the original series of pokemon games. Now pokemon have a set amount of energy that limits the amount of times it may attack causing you to have to return to a doctor or nurse and rest up. Overall pokemon games are the perfect match for these less powerful systems since the difference in graphics hasn't drastically changed with the release of the newer systems during fights at least. The towns on the other hand vary by birds eye view (top view) and 2.5D where your actually running up stairs and bumps in the ground, looking at the face of the building as well as its side and not just the roof; moving traffic adds to the dimension this newer series brings; there is also two versions which offer different towns and pokemonRead full review...

One of my favorite games of the series so far.

So I'm a regular pokemon fan who after buying pokemon soulsylver thought, "Wow, this game is sooo boring", and so I when I heard that pokemon white and black were coming out, I thought they were going to be just as boring and so decided not to buy them.

After a few weeks after they came out, I was still against buying this game because I felt like I had been ripped off my money when I bought pokemon soulsylver and even though my friends told me how great this game, pokemon white, was, I did not want to buy it.

Then, suddenly, I decided to get it; ONLY because I'm a huge fan of all things pokemon. When I had it in my hands, I thought, "Well, I just hope this game at least isn't boring", and when I finally played it, I discovered that this game is FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't care how bad you think pokemon soulsylver and heartgold were, this new game will BLOW those two out the water and if you are a big fan of pokemon but can't decided whether or not to buy this game, just take your time! Great game with some interesting twists!

I rated this game four out of five stars because of its great gameplay. the game is a little longer than previous pokemon games with some new twists like three on three battles. there are some truly unique pokemon and some very normal pokemon. one negative is the lack of unique pokemon that we come to expect from the pokemon series with the exception of a few very unique pokemon. graphics have also improved slightly making for a better gameplay experience. and a great storyline that keeps you guessing. overall a good game that i personally recommend.Read full review...

It's a GOOD game, but coming from Pokemon, I was expecting a GREAT game

It's one of the worst games put out by Pokemon, but given that, all Pokemon games are worth the time and money to play, as a collector owning all games (multiple copies of most), i would say it is worse than most other games, but still the playthrough is unlike another. Cool legendary pokemon, but the basic pokemon and starters are by far the worst. The storyline is weak but easy to understand. I recommend not getting this game unless you collect the games, as there are far better Pokemon games out there for the same price or cheaper.Read full review...
